set up

Hang from a bar with legs together and positioned slightly out in front.

raise

Raise the legs up and out in front of the body until the hip reaches a 90 degree angle.  If unable to keep legs straight, a bent knee variation may be used.

lowering

Slowly lower the legs down until the legs are slightly in front of the body.  Do not release tension in the abs and avoid letting the lower back extend.
